Elder Ballard’s talk from the April 2017 General Conference discussed goals and planning and was titled “Return and Receive.” It had some great life tips, as well as advice that we can apply to our OCD “progress” too.
Something that Dr. Grayson said at the OCD Conference during the scrupulosity panel a few weeks ago resonated with me. Basically, he said that exposures are never done to prove that the “bad thing” won’t happen.
The second day of OCD Con was not as great as day one, though there were some good insights and our conference day ended with the keynote presentation/world premiere of “Unstuck: An OCD Kids Movie” (our actual day ended with seeing “Hamilton,” which, side note, was amazing).
This past week, my husband and I left our children in the care of my parents and flew to San Francisco for the International OCD Foundation’s 24th annual OCD Conference.
